On the fly

Approaching Istanbul

The boarding in Warsaw was a bit scary. People were showing tons of papers, some were sent to pay some additional fees, God only knows for what, one guy was refused to be checked in because he had PCR test done 9h too early. Seeing those scenes I thought that I will be rejected too but somehow I managed to get through. The whole process took so much time though that the plane was taking off with 25 min delay. Fortunately it arrived on time to Istanbul. Airport looks huge and freshly made. It took me some time to reach transfer security check and then my new gate. I didn’t fly for so long that I forgot what is jack – to – jack cable needed for. I took it out from my headphones’ pouch and left at home thinking I will not need it 🙂

The airport in Istanbul is huge and it looks newly made. I did’t have much time to explore it since I had less than 1 h for connection. Many shops were closed because of the late hour anyway.

Approaching Dubai

I arrived to Dubai before 8 am local time, having only short nap in the plane from Istanbul. Upon arrival everyone was swept. They didn’t check our tests done in the countries of origin. We had to provide our phone numbers to receive the test result. I read at home that this application of theirs used for sending results is not working but I couldn’t give it much more thought after I spent the entire night in planes. I exchanged some money, bought the metro ticked and surprisingly easily found my hotel. There I bought breakfast after which I regained some strength so I decided to went out and explore the city.
